A: Crossroads can support you over the telephone to manage your profile on your behalf.

A: The minimum shift a Care Support Worker can accept is 1 hour.

Q: How much notice will I receive before a booking starts?

A: The system gives you the opportunity to be state how much notice you would like. You will never receive bookings that have a shorter period of notice than the minimum you have set.

Q: How many hours can I work per week?

A: You can work a maximum of 48 hours per week. However, you are able to select less than 48 hours if you would like to.

Q: I want to know more information about the person I may be caring for before I accept the booking.

A: Once you receive a booking you are able to view basic information about the Client before accepting. However, this depends whether the main Carer wishes to provide this information online.  Crossroads also provides a brief information sheet and the full care plan is available at the Client’s home.

Q: Can a carer book me on a regular basis? E.g. for the same time each week.

A:  Yes. If the carer requires your service regularly they are able to book you for up to four weeks in the future.
